Shira Kastenbaum – Apprentice

Shira Kastenbaum was born in Tel Aviv in 2005. She graduated as a Dance Major from Ironi Aleph School of the Arts in Tel-Aviv, under the direction of Dalit Harmati. Between the years 2013-2023 she studied at Shira Ganor’s Dance School. In 2022 she participated in Alvin Ailey’s summer course in New York, and in 2023 she won third place in the solo category in the Ministry of Education’s Annual competition for Outstanding Students in the Arts. Shira serves in the IDF as an outstanding dancer.
Joined The Batsheva Ensemble as an apprentice in 2023.
