Mermoz Melchior

Mermoz Melchior was born in 1999 in the south of France. After training in parkour and theater he discovered the contemporary dance at age of 17 in Cie Grenade of Josette Baz. He worked there for 2 years, learning pieces of Cristal Pyte, Barack Marshall, Angelin Preljocaj and being introduced to Ohad Naharin’s work with Kamuyot.
Then he joined the Ballet Junior of Geneva where he was involved in creation and performing work of Olivier Dubois, Roy Assaf and Noa Zuk. Afterwards he danced for Edouard Hue and he sustained a tight link with the cinema, he recently played in ‘Foudre’ of Carmen Jaquier.

Joined the Batsheva Ensemble in 2022.
