For the first time since its establishment, Project 48 will host 20 Batsheva Ensemble dancers who will meet with ten creators from the local dance community for two short creative tasks.
Project 48 invites creators and dancers to a ‘creative blind date’ in which they create original works for the stage in two speed rounds of 24 hours.
In a process that spans two days, five groups of creators and dancers will be randomly paired and enter a joint artistic venture for which they are only given 24 hours and a starting prompt. At the end of each day, the five works are presented one after the other in a one-off performance.
Two evenings that celebrate surprising connections with rich, creative ranges.
*Ticket sales for this performance will open later in the season.
