Batsheva Hosts: BRUT

Live Music & Dance performance, with the techno band Avaq. Three dancers & Three musicians melt movement and beat into a ONE solidity, basic and fundamental like a breath. BRUT was presented at the “Imagine a Museum” exhibition at Tel Aviv Museum of Art, curated by Ruti Director, January 2023.
At the end of the performance there will be a live set of Avaq (including an open dance floor to audience).
Batsheva Hosts, under the artistic direction of Lior Avizoor and Hillel Kogan, is a platform showcasing works by independent Israeli artists from the fields of dance and performance.

About the Artist
Noa Shadur is an independent choreographer & video artist based in Tel Aviv.
Her body of choreographic works include among others: Suddenly We Were All Alone (Inbal Dance Theater Company), Entropy – following Noa Eshkol work (TLV Museum of Art), choreography for the acclaimed Theater play Ghetto (re-staged in Beijing 2018), We Do Not Torture People (1st Prize NoBallet competition Germany). Shadur Graduated with BA in Dance and Choreography from ArtEZ Academy for the Arts (NL). Currently a student at the MFA international program for Documentary Film studies at the Tel Aviv University. Shadur was awarded with the Upcoming Choreographer from the Israeli Ministry of Culture 2009, 2014,2017.
