Nouhoum Koita

Nouhoum Koita is a Japanese and Malian dance artist from Brooklyn, NY. He began dancing at the National Dance Institute and then went on to train at LaGuardia Arts High School, MOVE|NYC|, and the Juilliard School. In 2020, Koita was named a National YoungArts Finalist at the Gold Award level, and a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. Koita went on to freelance in NYC, working with choreographers such as Andrea Miller, Aszure Barton, Roderick George, and Shamel Pitts.

Joined the Batsheva Ensemble in 2025.
