Daniel Paula was born in 2003 and is a Portuguese-Canadian dancer from Toronto, Canada. He received his early training at Elite Danceworx before graduating from The Juilliard School in 2025, under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack and Mario Alberto Zambrano. He has performed works by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, William Forsythe, Jermaine Spivey, Merce Cunningham, Medhi Walerski, Yin Yue, Angelin Preljocaj, and Johannes Wieland, among others. During the 2025–2026 season, he danced with the Saarländisches Staatsballett under the artistic direction of Stijn Celis.
Joined the Batsheva Ensemble in 2026.
