Batsheva's Program for Outstanding Dance Students offers young dancers and students from across Israel to professionally get acquainted with the work processes of Batsheva Dance Company. The aim of the program is to improve the students' "tool-box" and develop a high level of proficiency. The group's work emphasizes the process experienced by each of the individual dancers.
Program sessions include Gaga, the movement language created by Ohad Naharin, that serves as the daily training routine of the company's dancers; learning the vast repertoire of The Company, and attending Batsheva performances.
The program is directed and taught by Hillel Kogan, Director of Educational Programs and Artistic Director of "Batsheva Hosts", who is also an independent dancer and choreographer. Guest teachers include Batsheva dancers artistic staff members.
