Batsheva School

The Batsheva School is located in the Suzanne Dellal Center, where the Batsheva Dance Company’s artistic and professional spirit is brought to life through a rich curriculum. This is the only school in the world where the main practice taught is Gaga – the living and evolving movement language developed by the company’s house choreographer Ohad Naharin.

Ella Naveh, School Director

“The school’s students come here at a tender and thrilling age, when they are still finding their voice and honing their skills as dancers. Together, they practice openness, break patterns, develop boldness of expression, and push their boundaries. At 18, they step out into the world as professional dancers who embody the singularity of Batsheva’s spirit, and as creative people with the wisdom of both body and mind.”
