Tamir Eting

Tamir Eting

Tamir Eting was born in 1990 in Israel. During childhood he trained in gymnastics and acrobatics. He began dancing in 2009 at the dancer's workshop in Kibbutz Ga'aton. Between 2009-2011 took part in the dance training course under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. In 2009 & 2010 Tamir participated in the Batsheva Excellence Program, directed by Hillel Kogan. He is the recipient of the 2010 Sharet Foundation scholarship. Tamir joined Batsheva Ensemble in August  2012.

 
Yael Ben Ezer

Yael Ben Ezer

Born in 1995 in Tel-Aviv, Yael studied at Tel-Aviv School of the Arts and graduated from Alon High School's dance department. She participated in the Excellence Programs of both Batsheva Dance Company and the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. During the summer of 2010 she participated in the "Dance is Culture" (Israel/Italy) project directed by Adi Salant and Mauro Astolfi. Yael joined the Batsheva Ensemble in August 2013. 

 
Mario Bermudez Gil

Mario Bermudez Gil

Mario Bermudez Gil  was born in Jaen, Spain in 1987. He studied at the Centro Andaluz de Danza in Sevilia (2008-2010). Mario worked at Jennifer Muller (2010-2011), Gallim Dance (2011-2012) and joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Madison  Hoke

Madison Hoke

Madison Hoke was born in Fairmont, West Virginia in 1994. She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 2012. While schooling, Madison studied with Angela Dennis, of Alchemy Dance Project, and Katreena Snyder of Kat & Co. Dance. She was the 2008 Friends of West Virginia Culture and History Scholarship Recipient. From 2011-2013, she trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Summer Lee Rhatigan. In 2012, she performed with Zhukov Dance Theatre in San Francisco. Madison joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2013.

 
Kelvin Vu

Kelvin Vu

Kelvin Vu was born in the US in 1989. After graduating from Yale University in 2011, he trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Summer Lee Rhatigan. He joined Batsheva Ensemble in Augus 2013.

 
Matan Cohen

Matan Cohen

Born in Haifa in 1993, Matan studied at the Dance Department of Wizo High School for the Arts. He is the recipient of the honoring scholarship of Haifa Cultural Foundation (2011) and of the American Ballet Academy (2011-2012). He graduated from the training program of Bikurey Ha'Itim and the Excellence Programs of both Batsheva Dance Company and the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Matan serves in the IDF as a privileged outstanding dancer. Joined the ensemble in August 2013. 

 
Rani Lebzelter

Rani Lebzelter

Rani Lebzelter was born in Israel in 1989. She studied at the Bustan School for the Performing Arts in Netanya. During 2009-2010 Rani trained at the dancer's workshop in Kibbutz Ga'aton. Between 2009-2011 she took part in the dance training course under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. In 2010 Rani participated in the Batsheva Dance Company Excellence Program directed by Hillel Kogan. She joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Shani Licht

Shani Licht

 Shani Licht was born in 1994, nearby Jerusalem. She graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance High School. Participated in the "Dance is Culture" (Israel/Italy) project directed by Adi Salant and Mauro Astolfi in 2011. She took part in the Batsheva Dance Company's Excellence program in 2012 and joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012. Shani serves in the IDF as a privileged outstanding dancer.

 
Ayelet Nadav

Ayelet Nadav

Ayelet Nadav was born in Mitzpe Abirim, Israel in 1983. She studied at the Mateh Asher Regional Council Dance Studio in Kibbutz Ga'aton. She is the recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship in 2008. She took part in the KCDC Excellence program, as well as Batsheva Dance Company's Excellence program. Apprenticed with KCDC and joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Shane Scopatz

Shane Scopatz

 Shane Scopatz was born in the US in 1988 and grew up in Santa Barbara, California. He graduated from the University of California at Irvine in 2011 with a BFA in Dance, and was introduced to Gaga while studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance in 2009. Shane joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Doron Perk

Doron Perk

Born in 1990, Doron studied at the Music and Dance Academy in Jerusalem and the conservatorium of the academy. Between 2008 and 2010, Doron danced for the Croatian National Theater Ballet and later on between 2010 and 2013 in Compañía Nacional de Danza. He is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship for 5 consecutive years (2003-2008) and was awarded a full scholarship for the Conservatoire de Paris along with Pas de Deux Master Class and Mia Arbatova Association (2006). Doron was an apprentice at the Batsheva Ensemble in 2008 and joined  the Ensrembleas a dancer in August 2013.

 
Mariko Kakizaki

Mariko Kakizaki

 Mariko was born in Japan in 1988. Trained in rhythmic gymnastics during childhood and started dancing at the age of 18. Danced with different artists in various frame-works and is the first-place winner of the Korea International Modern Dance competition, Korea in 2011. Graduated from Tsukuba University in March 2012, and joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Ori Kroll

Ori Kroll

Ori Kroll was born in Israel in 1994. She graduated from Thelma Yallin School of the Arts. Ori was  the recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship both in 2010 and 2011. She participated in Batsheva Ensemble's Exellence Program (2011-2012).
Ori joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2013.

 
Oz Shoshan

Oz Shoshan

Oz Shoshan was born in Jerusalem in 1993. He danced with "Mehola Jerusalem" for 12 years. Oz graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and is the recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship during six consecutive years, 2006-2012. Participated in the "Dance is Culture" (Israel/Italy) project directed by Adi Salant and Mauro Astolfi in 2011. Oz joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Etay Axelrod  (apprentice)

Etay Axelrod (apprentice)

Born in 1995, Itay graduated from Blich high school, Ramat Gan. He participated in the American Academy of Ballet Summer Course (2012), Peridance School in Manhattan (2013) and SIBA in Salzburg. Itay is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship 2013-2014. Itay joined the ensemble as an apprentice in August 2013.

 

 
Yuval Gargir (apprentice)

Yuval Gargir (apprentice)

Yuval Gargir was born in 1993. Yuval studied at the Keren Rice Dance Studio, Givataim. She graduated from the Department of Ddance of Blich High School and the training program of Bikurey Ha'Itim under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. Participated in the "Dance is Culture" (Israel/Italy) project directed by Adi Salant and Mauro Astolfi and the Batsheva Dance Company Excellence Programme in the years 2011-2013. In 2011 Yuval was awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture. She serves in the IDF as a privileged outstanding dancer. Yuval joined the ensemble as an apprentice in August 2013.

 
Nimrod Poles (apprentice)

Nimrod Poles (apprentice)

Born in 1995 in Tel-Aviv, Nimrod graduated from Ironi Alef high school of the Arts and the dance school of Bikurey Ha'Itim. He participated in BatshevaDAnce Company Excellence Program (2012-2013). Serves in the IDF as a privileged outstanding dancer. Nimrod joined the ensemble as an apprentice in August 2013.

 
Shiri Perelmuter(apprentice)

Shiri Perelmuter(apprentice)

Born in 1994, Shiri studied at the Bustan School for the Performing Arts in Netanya and Thelma Yalin Dance Department, Givataim. Between 2012 and 2013 she took part in the Dance Training Course under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. She is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship (2012-2013). Shiri serves in the IDF as a privileged outstanding dancer. Shiri Joined the Batsheva Ensemble as an apprentice in August 2013.
