Noam Eidelman Shatil

Noam Eidelman Shatil

Noam Eidelman Shatil was born in Jerusalem in 1991. She studied at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance High School, and danced two years with the young Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Noam joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2011.

 
Tamir Eting

Tamir Eting

Tamir Eting was born in 1990 in Israel. During childhood he trained in gymnastics and acrobatics. He began dancing in 2009 at the dancer's workshop in Kibbutz Ga'aton. Between 2009-2011 took part in the dance training course under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. In 2009 & 2010 Tamir participated in the Batsheva Excellence Program, directed by Hillel Kogan. He is the recipient of the 2010 Sharet Foundation scholarship. Tamir joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2012.

 
Mario Bermudez Gil

Mario Bermudez Gil

Mario Bermudez Gil  was born in Jaen, Spain in 1987. He studied at the Centro Andaluz de Danza in Sevilia (2008-2010). Mario worked at Jennifer Muller (2010-2011), Gallim Dance (2011-2012) and joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2012.

 
Eduard Turull

Eduard Turull

Eduard Turull was born in Spain in 1984. He studied at the Barcelona conservatory for dance and theatre and participated in workshops and courses throughout Europe. During the years 2005-2009 he performed with IT DANSA where he worked with many choreographers, his last project being with Gustavo Ramirez. Eduard joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010.

 
Rani Lebzelter

Rani Lebzelter

Rani Lebzelter was born in Israel in 1989. She studied at the Bustan School for the performing arts in Netanya. During 2009-2010 Rani trained at the dancer's workshop in Kibbutz Ga'aton. Between 2009-2011 she took part in the dance training course under the direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. In 2010 Rani participated in the Batsheva Excellence Program directed by Hillel Kogan. She joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2012

 
Keren Lurie-Pardes

Keren Lurie-Pardes

Keren Lurie-Pardes was born in 1991. She studied in the dance department of the High School for the Arts and Theatre-Dance, both in Jerusalem. She is the graduate of Bikury Ha'itim Arts Centre's professional dance program directed by Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan (2008-2010). Keren took part in Idan Sharabi's project in the fall of 2010. During the 2010/11 season she was an apprentice with Batsheva Ensemble and joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2011.

 
Shani Licht

Shani Licht

 Shani Licht was born in 1994, nearby Jerusalem. She graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance High School. Participated in the "Dance is Culture" (Israel/Italy) project directed by Adi Salant and Mauro Astolfi in 2011. She took part in the Batsheva Dance Company's Excellence program in 2012 and joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Ayelet Nadav

Ayelet Nadav

Ayelet Nadav was born in Mitzpe Abirim, Israel in 1983. She studied at the Mateh Asher Regional Council Dance Studio in Kibbutz Ga'aton. She is the recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship in 2008. She took part in the KCDC Excellence program, as well as Batsheva Dance Company's Excellence program. Apprenticed with KCDC and joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Shane Scopatz

Shane Scopatz

 Shane Scopatz was born in the US in 1988 and grew up in Santa Barbara, California. He graduated from the University of California at Irvine in 2011 with a BFA in Dance, and was introduced to Gaga while studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance in 2009. Shane joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Mariko Kakizaki

Mariko Kakizaki

 Mariko was born in Japan in 1988. Trained in rhythmic gymnastics during childhood and started dancing at the age of 18. Danced with different artists in various frame-works and is the first-place winner of the Korea International Modern Dance competition, Korea in 2011. Graduated from Tsukuba University in March 2012, and joined Batsheva Ensemble in August 2012.

 
Oz Shoshan

Oz Shoshan

Oz Shoshan was born in Jerusalem in 1993. He danced with "Mehola Jerusalem" for 12 years. Oz graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and is the recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship during six consecutive years, 2006-2012. Participated in the "Dance is Culture" (Israel/Italy) project directed by Adi Salant and Mauro Astolfi in 2011. Oz joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2012.

 
Gil Shachar

Gil Shachar

Gil Shachar was born in Jerusalem in 1992. Danced with "Hora Jerusalem" since the age of 13. He is the recipient of the 2009-2011 Sharet Foundation scholarship. Gil took part in Batsheva Dance Company's Excellence program and joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010.

Or Schraiber

Or Schraiber was born in 1992. He studied at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance High School, and danced with 'Hora Jerusalem' since the age of 8. Or took part in Batsheva Dance Company's Excellence program. He joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010.

 
Maya Tamir

Maya Tamir

Maya Tamir was born in 1991. She studied at the Alon High School and participated in Batsheva Dance Company's Excellence program in Tel Aviv's Beit Dani. After a year as an understudy with the Batsheva Ensemble, she joined as a dancer in 2010.

Shaked Leibzirers (apprentice)

Shaked Leibzirers was born in Israel in 1990. He studied dance at the Kiryat Tiv'on dance school. Shaked participated in summer courses of NDT in Holland, New York, London and Juilliard in New York. He is the recipient of the Sharet Foundation scholarship between 2004-2010. Shaked reached the finals of the Maya Arbatova Competition in 2008. He joined Batsheva Ensemble as an apprentice in 2011.

Ron Matalon (apprentice)

Ron Matalon was born in 1993 in Israel. He started dancing in Orna Glass's Dance Studio (2006). Between 2011-2012 Ron took part in the Bikury Ha'itim's dance training course with Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. He participated in Batsheva Ensemble's Excellence Program (2010-2011).


 

 
Nitzan Moshe (apprentice)

Nitzan Moshe (apprentice)

Nitzan Moshe was born in Israel in 1994. She graduted from Mosinzon High School's dance department in Hod-Hasharon. She studied at the Tzeadim School for dance and the performing arts and with Rose Cassell. Nitzan serves in the IDF under the status of an outstanding dancer.

Ori Kroll (apprentice)

Ori Kroll was born in Israel in 1994. She graduated from Thelma Yallin School of the Arts. Ori was awarded a scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Fundation, both in 2010 and 2011. She participated in Batsheva Ensemble's Exellence Program (2011-2012).
