Batsheva Dancers
Bret Easterling
Bret Easterling was born in the US in 1988. He studied at the Juilliard School where he graduated with Hector Zaraspe Prize in 2010. While being involved in many school projects, he also performed with Andrea Miller's Gallim Dance. Bret joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
Iyar Elezra
Iyar Elezra was born in Israel in 1987. She joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2005 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2008.
Stephanie Amurao
Stephanie Amurao was born in Vancouver, Canada in 1988. She graduated from the Juilliard School in 2010 and then danced with Bern:Ballett under the direction of Cathy Marston. Stephanie joined Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
William Barry
William Barry was born in 1989 in New York. He graduated from Juilliard in 2011. Performed with Gallim Dance and Keigwin + CO. Joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2011and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
Shahar Binyamini
Shahar Biniamini was born in Israel in 1988. He joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2006 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2008.
Matan David
Matan David was born in Israel in 1982. He joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2001 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2003.
Omri Drumlevich
Omri Drumlevich was born in Kibbutz Ramat Rachel in 1992. He danced with 'Mehola Jerusalem' and studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Omri participated in Batsheva Ensemble's Excellence program. Joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
Zina (Natalya) Zinchenko
Zina Zinchenko was born in Moscow in 1987. She started dancing at the contemporary dance school of Nikolay Ogryzkov (1999-2004). Zina graduated from Rotterdam Dance Academy (Codarts) in November 2007. She danced with Galili Dance (2006-2009), Noord Nederlandse Dans (2009-2011). Joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2011and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
Adi Zlatin
Adi Zlatin was born in Israel in 1983. She studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance from 1996-2001. Adi joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2001 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2004.
Chen-Wei Lee
Chen-Wei Lee was born in Taiwan in 1985. She graduated from the Taipei National University of Art and joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2009 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2010.
Eri Nakamura
Eri Nakamura was born in Japan in 1984. In 2002 she graduated The Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. During the years 2003-2007 she danced with Victor Ullate Ballet Company in Madrid and later, 2007-2008, with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens de Montreal in Canada under the artistic direction of Gradimir Pankov. Eri joined Batsheva Dance Company in 2011.
Bobbi Smith
Bobbi Smith was born in the United States in 1983. She studied at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, the North Carolina School of the Arts, and The Julliard School. Bobbi joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2005 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2008.
Ori Moshe Ofri
Ori Moshe Ofri was born in Israel in 1991. He graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance High School and joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2009 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2010.
Shamel Pitts
Shamel Pitts was born in New York City in 1985. He graduated from The Juilliard School and danced with BJM Dance and Mikhail Baryshnikov's Hell's Kitchen Dance. Shamel joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2009 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2010.
Oscar Ramos
Oscar Ramos was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico in 1984. He started his professional career in Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico in 2000, where he won Ballet Dancer of the year in 2002. In 2003 Oscar was a fellowship student at The Ailey School and between 2004-2006 he danced with the Chicago Hubbard Street 2 Company . In 2007 joined Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet for 5 years. Oscar joined Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
Ian Robinson
Ian Robinson was born in the U.S. in 1985. He graduated from New York University and performed with Mikhail Baryshnikov's Hell's Kitchen Dance, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, Sydney Dance Company, and Aszure Barton & Artists. Ian joined Batsheva Dance Company in 2009.
Nitzan Ressler
Nitzan Ressler was born in Jerusalem in 1992. As a child she danced with 'Hora Jerusalem' and studied at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance High School. Nitzan is the recipient of the 2008-2010 Israel-America Cultural Foundation education scholarship. She joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
Maayan Sheinfeld
Maayan Sheinfeld was born in 1992. She graduated from the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts. Maayan is the recipient of the 2007-2010 Sharet Fund scholarship. She participated in a summer dance courses in Prague, Salzburg and New York's Juilliard and joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2010 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2012.
